Some mother worried of their child having noisy breathing. Often, they came and described it to doctor as noisy breathing followed by bluish discoloration of fingers, and sometime associated with chills as well. They may have tried many ways at home including sucking directly mouth to nose. This may seem disgusting, occasionally it does work! But the risk that might arise in reality is quite scary. Imagine if there is clotted secretion inside, it can block the baby nostrils once it was sucked. So parents who had encountered this problem should remain calm. Usually, the concentrated secretion inside the nose naturally will dissolved during bathing session. Otherwise, they can use cotton bud to remove the secretion, but with careful and gentle. Other method commonly used is by using saline drop which available in many pharmacy including hospital.
